MTOP training

General Practice is often busy and time pressured. The hustle and bustle of an active practice can work well when immunisations are due, or procedures are needed and other members of the team can assist such as practice nurses.

At other times a quieter, more discrete setting is appropriate for the conversations that are needed – and where more time can be allocated to each patient.

Dr Chapeyama is mindful of the need of different approaches to care, and this has informed her decision to offer care outside a traditional general practice set-up.
